Survey: More Pharma Companies Using Social Media to Boost Sales and Marketing Initiatives
Cegedim Relationship Management in its annual industry survey, 2012 US Pharma Insights, discloses that while more pharma companies are using social media and mobile platforms to enhance their sales and marketing initiatives, budgets did not show any rise in social media spend.
Pharma workers have more willingly adopted key social media venues in the past year, with 96% of participants joined LinkedIn, 70% created account on Facebook, and 37% on Twitter, versus 54%, 32%, and 9% in 2011, respectively.
